Our a/c decided death would be better than another Illinois heatwave, so we called Energy Stars, a new company to us. The first two young men who came out scratched their heads and quoted us $5000 for a whole new system, but said they wanted a colleague to look at it first. The next day, Eric M. came and saved the day (and our wallet)! He said there wasn’t an a/c problem he hadn’t seen in his career, and he would get it fixed up. In the pouring rain, he worked, and within minutes found the culprit—a dead capacitor. One part swap later, and the a/c was humming like a Ferrari. He cleaned out the coils and redid all the connections, too. That a/c was running and cooling the house good as new. We paid $330 when all was said and done, which was a lot prettier a fee than a whole new system. I cannot thank or sing the praises of Eric M. enough; he saved our bacon and kept us from roasting this summer! Viva Leibold

Furnace was leaking, Logan came out and fixed it. He has great customer service, super nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable. He definitely takes pride in his job and does great work. They show that they value the customer and are always available if you have any questions and/or concerns. I give them a A+ rating. They replaced my furnace and central air unit in a timely manner and came but to do a courtesy inspection 3 months later to ensure everything was working correctly Kya

Energy stars did a great job putting in our new broiler. Always showed up on time. They had a few problems with the parts, but they didn't stop until the problem was solved. I would recommend for your heating and cooling problem anytime. Dena Bush

Two experts from Energy Stars Heating & Cooling Company arrived at our home on Tuesday morning, precisely at 9:00 a.m. Their prompt arrival was a sign that they were they professional. They did their job, removing the old furnace and installing the new one with a limited amount of noise, no mishaps, no complaints or concerns. We were expecting a day-long job, but they were totally finished (including clean-up) by two in the afternoon! The new system works perfectly and throughout the day these two men worked like a well-oiled machine. They were very professional, extremely polite and we are 100% impressed with the final results. Our thanks to Energy Stars Heating & Cooling Company for an outstanding job and definitely our thanks to "Deontay" and "Eric" (my apologies if I spelled either name wrong). My furnace and central air conditioner are working perfectly and as professionally installed by this company and a very good amount of time. My house was moving around just as always. Scott was very cordial took the time to explain what was going on with my furnace explaining what he did when troubleshooting my furnace issue/s. He took pictures to document what he found and explained what had to be done in a manner that I was able to understand. I would recommend Energy Star to others. Although the work has yet to be done I trust that Energy Star will be a great company to do the job. Once the work is done I will update my review. I don’t think my rating will change. 😉 UPDATE!! Furnace is installed and my house is now warm and cozy. The install were very professional. They cleaned up and took away the old furnace. I would recommend ENERGY STAR !!! randle pirtle

The people at Energy Stars are so accommodating and customer-focused. We had an issue with our furnace after Spire replaced our meter. On two separate calls, a technician came out to service our heat. They both took the time to explain the basic mechanics of the furnace and expected behaviors. This then helped us to understand what our options were for repair and to make the best choice for our needs. Thank you Energy Stars!
